The Season Begins!!

 

My daughter is in Girl Guides. So she decided to work on her Foodie badge this weekend. She spent some time with her grandma on Saturday and interviewed her all about baking, with a special focus on the candy cane cookies. Today, she put that knowledge into practice when she baked her own Christmas Cookies! 

I think she learned a few things. And some of the things her grandma said, like how these cookies can be frustrating, made a lot more sense. But I think she did a great job, especially for her first time.
