HAPPY CANADA DAY!!
Happy Canada Day Everyone!
I went for a beautiful 4 km walk this morning to celebrate this land. I had to stop a few times to take some pictures.
I love the walking paths in my neighbourhood. I know there are people who complain that they are a waste of tax payer's money but respectfully, I disagree. If you saw how many other people were out walking along these paths this morning, you would know that it is money well spent.
Then it was time to cool off with a quick dip in the pool and some refreshments.
For our Canada Day feast, we had walleye from Île-à-la-Crosse Fish Company with a side of asparagus from River Valley Farms and buns from my kitchen (can't get more local than that!!). I paired it with a Saskatchewan Bramble! It was a fantastic Canada Day from start to finish!!
