Morning Musings

It's the days when I don't want to walk and decide to anyway when it's the most worth it. I swear the star aligned to reward me.

First off, the weather was not as bad as it looked. Sure there was a breeze, but it wasn't unpleasant. The clouds made for an interesting sky. In fact, it reached 19C this afternoon. And then there were the birds. I love watching the Canada geese fly in formation. It's one of the biggest things I miss from life on the acreage. This morning, I got to see a few little flocks make their way to the fields to eat. I was also treated to a few pigeons who seemed to follow me around. But the big surprise were the horses that live on the farm right at the end of the street. I hardly ever see them but there they were - calmly eating their grass. It was a great way to start the day.
