Happy Winter Solstice!

 I love this day! It's the shortest day of the year which means that from now on, the days are getting longer and we're getting more sunlight! So I just had to go out and get some sunrise pictures. I was a little nervous because we've had a bunch of rain lately and it's made everything incredibly icy. Sure enough, the walking paths were coated in a nice layer of ice. I managed by walking along the grass beside the paths. However, I did manage to fall once, but I fell right on the meaty part of my hip into some snow so I didn't even get hurt.
